Christmas Hangouts in the Philippines

It’s Xmas time once again!

One of the best things i love about Xmas is the opportunity to spend quality time with our kids and family.

Every year, we spend Xmas in the best way we can, either by traveling within or outside the metro, strolling around the malls or by simply relaxing in our house. Christmas is an occasion to celebrate fun and togetherness and each of us wants to celebrate Xmas in our own special way.

As we approach another Christmas, I would like to share with you some Xmas photos of my family. Hopefully these will give you some good ideas where to go and what to do this Christmas.

One of the most popular attractions of Star City theme park in Pasay City is their Snow World.

Here,  you can see an ice slide

a gigantic polar animals, huge snowy Christmas trees and a sculpture of different ice carvings and ice castle.
If you haven’t been here before, check out this place and experience a white Christmas with your kids.

There's more fun stuff to do in Eastwood City around Christmas time.

From sale shopping

to food

and casual dining.

From miming

to picture taking.

From strolling

to relaxing.

All the best pleasures in life are here in Eastwood City.

Take a trip back in time and see over hundreds of spectacular display of collectible toys at the fourth floor.

Around the circle, there are huge number of live entertainment and stores for you to explore. Bazaaristas from all over the metro set up booths for trendy clothes, bags and collectibles. When it's time to save money, this place is a perfect venue to shop and unwind.

If you want to fill up your Christmas calendar with joy and fun, start as early as this Ber month at Eastwood City.

and you’ll surely find a lot of things to enjoy this holiday.

Xmas break provide great opportunities to get out from your regular routine for a few days with your family. If money is not a concern, a 2 day vacation can be refreshing, relaxing and exciting to stay in one of the most ideal hotels in the heart of Subic, The Lighthouse Marina Resort.

Since money is our major concern, so we decided to stay at Subic Park Hotel, not the cheapest but at least we're able to saved some bucks.

The lobby was nice, not grandiose but clean and well-decorated.

There's also a huge Christmas tree embellished with over a hundreds Christmas balls in the lobby area.

The room was clean, not that spacious but big enough to move around.

The hotel has a small swimming pool ( we're able to booked a sea view room).

sad to say, the beach was not good for swimming.

so my boys decided to get out from the beach and have some splash around the pool instead

But a beach is still a beach and it's always fun and relaxing to watch the sunset.

and everywhere.

Nightlife at Pier 1

Enjoying the night with my hubby

and kids.

The lined up bars and restaurants along the beach are all walking distance from our hotel, so it's okay to stay up late and walk around the bay with no worries.

Our complimentary breakfast

Picture taking while thinking of renting a boat to tour us around the bays and inlets of Subic.

Jetski rentals are available for tourists and residents in most hotels too,  but If you want to have fun with no cost, enjoy the jetski on the sand (^0^)

Another good thing that i like about Christmas is the birth of our saviour, Jesus Christ. So don't forget to pray and give thanks to Him. This was taken infront of the San Roque church (the only church that we saw inside the Subic Bay Metropolitan Area).

The Inang Laya Monument

Picture taking at the historical landmarks of Subic.

Another souvenir

and another.

After spending half of our day at Ocean Adventure and Zoobic Safari (see my educational trips blog) we headed off to Royal Duty Free Shop to buy some goodies for my kids.

And of course, Christmas vacation won't be complete without eating in one of the most popular korean restaurants in Subic, the BBQ Chicken!

There’s no Christmas without good Santa joining the celebration. So make sure to bring your kids to Rustan's Makati to meet, greet, and sat on the lap of everyone’s favorite holiday guest, Santa Claus!

Gifts are primarily for the kids and this giving has just gotten easier. Rustan's Department Store has launched Christmas Wish List last year, where kids can register and write down their wish lists for Christmas. Surely this year 2011, my kids will comeback definitely to Rustans Makati and have their names and wish lists enlisted again.
Huge Xmas trees, lanterns adorn lampposts and windows, wreaths on the door, candy canes and lolly wheels,

McKinley Hill is located in Fort Bonifacio Taguig, just adjacent to Bonifacio Global City.

The Venetian Mall
Situated around the circle is the Piazza Grande, a perfect replica of Venice’s famous landmark, and seemingly one of the best venues for live concert and spectacular events.

At the back is the Venetian well-known icon, the St. Mark's Tower.
