The transfiguration  Chapel
It's been almost a year now since we last visited this place. As far as I could see, nothing has changed, the church and garden are still the same as last time. The place is still wonderful as it was.
Spot the difference
The Groom and the Bride ^o^

The altar. See the carved trunk?
The main altar is a carved tree trunk representing the “stem of Jesse,” mentioned in the Book of the Prophet Isaiah: then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit (Is 11:1).

The beautiful stained glass windows
The stained glass depicts the Transfiguration of Jesus witnessed by Peter, John, and Luke. With Jesus are Moses and Elijah, two significant instruments of God in the Old Testament(Mat 17:3).

The aisle and ceiling
Hurry, i'm burning! (^v^)

The fountain near the entrance and parking area

That's the receiving hall, not the chapel

The grand staircase of the receiving hall

that leads up to the guest rooms

You could see tons of green grass & plants all around the park

what truly makes Caleruega Park unique and interesting is the neatness and solemnity of the place

Welcome to my place!

I hope you'll find yourself relaxed and comfortable here. Be safe and enjoy!

Family pets are welcome,  but please do not leave them unattended (^o^)

Lots of people come here for relaxing, so please avoid loud noises or boisterous behavior. Smile (^o^)
Plants and trees are beautiful attractions to the parks, harvesting or picking of fruits are not allowed (^o^) unless permitted by the dog, este by the caretaker (^v^)
Picnic lunches are allowed but please keep the park clean.
Make sure no trash is discarded or thrown around the area.

Guards on duty are not strict but for the safety of everyone, weapons of any kind are not allowed (except toy guns).

The park is safe but never leave very young children unattended.
This place is not only best for weddings but excellent for photography too. Caleruega offers a scenic venue that is perfect for wedding and prenuptial shoots. Ours was postnup (^u^)

I'll go ahead. Bye!

How to get there?

If you're coming from Manila via South Super Highway:
- Take Sta. Rosa Exit
- Proceed towards Tagaytay Market
- Turn Right to Tagaytay Rotonda
- Keep right at the Y intersection road (when in doubt, ask the gasoline boy from Petron
  gasoline  station)
- Turn left to Evercrest Hotel
- Turn right until you reach the rocky and dusty road that leads to the chapel

Via Coastal Road
From Roxas Boulevard proceed to Aguinaldo Highway up to Tagaytay Rotonda.

Several public bus provide transportation to and from Tagaytay. Proceed to BLTB or Crow Transit terminal in Pasay City and ride a bus bound to Nasugbu or Balayan, Batangas. Get off at Evercrest Hotel (left side going to Nasugbu). Then ride on a motorcycle and dropped off at Caleruega Church.
