Christmas Display @ The Fort, Taguig Global City

Are you aimlessly looking around for outdoor Christmas displays that will certainly bring your mood to the Holidays?

We'll, if you haven't go
ne to Bonifacio Global City for quite some time, you better go and find out what's in there now.

Here's what i saw:

Please note however that all these pics were taken inside the car so don't be surprised about the poor images  : )

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

While driving around Bonifacio Global City, we passed by this beautifully erected life-size Belen (Nativity scene), located just infront of the Fort Strip Restaurants

I don't know what kind of creature is this, but the impressive artwork definitely worth a stop

I don't know what to capture here : )
My eldest son called this as, "An alien with no name" : )

But my little one said, that's an "Orange Plants & Animals"

Try crossing your eyes and see the 3D effect in reverse : )

While waiting for the stop light to go : )

The "Spectacular Spectrum" light and sounds show at Ayala Triangle Gardens

If you haven't been to Ayala Triangle, I would suggest that you go there tonight and watch the symphony of lights at the park. This is honestly one of the most amazing and breathtaking Christmas Lights and Sounds show I have ever seen.

So, what are you waiting for? See it for yourself!

Here are some photos I took this evening:

The lights from the trees lit up the whole park

Ayala Triangle at night was worth the walk

awesome!

The dancing laser lights

Can't get good angles in the midst of the crowd

This is by far the best Symphony Lights show experience we had here in the Metro and nothing like we have ever seen before in any other cities. Thumbs up, Ayala Triangle!

The show runs every 30 minutes from 6pm to 9pm, Monday thru Saturday, until December 30. Don't miss it 'coz it's free.

Best time to go there is before 6pm. Just sit or stand around the park and claim your best spot for good pics.

Enjoy the sights and sounds. Have fun and Merry Xmas!

Boracay

There are plenty of beautiful places you can visit around Boracay but the pictures i posted here were the ones I considered the best of Bora.
.

We flew from NAIA3 to Kalibo Airport via Cebu Pacific.

My husband and I are both passionate travelers and we love to share our travel photos and experiences with whoever is reading this.

traveling brings us much closer together as couple

From Kalibo airport you can transfer to Caticlan by taxi, minivans or bus. 2 hours land trip by minivan can be exhausted but the bus route that we chose was more comfortable and relaxing.

Caticlan
Whether you go by plane or by Roro, the port of entry to Boracay Island is the small town of Caticlan on the mainland.

Boracay Tropics Hotel
We stayed at Boracay Tropics. The hotel is located at Boracay Station 3. Not a beach front (around 10-15 minute walk to the beach) but the place, service and ambiance are all worth to stay.

Upon arrival, we went straight to the restaurant to eat our late lunch. Food was good. Our 3D 2N package includes full buffet lunch and 2 buffet breakfast. The beach has lots of dining-out choices so we chose not to include our dinner here.

our room
We stayed in a clean and spacious air-conditioned room with a comfortable 2 queen-size bed, flat screen tv and a modern bathroom with a full-flow shower rain. As mentioned earlier, the hotel is not a beachfront so don't expect a sea-view room.

the balcony that overlooks the pool and tropics garden

After freshen up we go down to the garden for photo ops.

Then we took a short walk to the beach

Boracay is truly amazing! If you're really a beach lover, this island might be the best for you.

The famous "Willy's Rock" now " Boracay Rock"
Willy's rock or Boracay rock is the most stunning landmark attraction in Boracay Station 1. Facing the beach are stairs leading to a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is surely one place you shouldn't miss when you visit Bora.

Another view of Boracay rock

This famous landmark is situated one hundred meters off shore. Obviously, this is the most photographed attraction in the island.

Sound- tripping by the beach.

Live bands and music entertainment can be found just along the shore.  However, night spots are often crowded on weekends but less nightlife on weekdays and low season.
One favorite activity in the island is to wait for the sun to set

You can`t leave Boracay without taking pictures of the breathtaking sunsets. This is also the best time to have dinner outside and have sunset cocktail in the bars and pubs. What a beautiful life!
I could say that sunset here is one of the best in the world.

it takes only 15 minutes till the sun kissed the ocean

This sunset was the most spectacular we have ever witnessed
swimming at the pool of Boracay Tropics
The beautiful 6km stretch of Boracay

island hopping
No visit to Boracay would be complete without exploring the beautiful island on a native Paraw. Island hopping was part of our day 2 activity. The boat went around the island and stopped twice for snorkelling and beach wandering.

Go down to station 2 and you can get a sailboat to go around the entire island.
It is great to join a boat trip and enjoy the scenery around the island

snorkeling time
Anyone could enjoy snorkeling even for someone who doesn't know how to swim like me. You can just wear a life vest and hold the rope while enjoying the fish and corals down the clear water.

Puka Beach
Though the sands here are not powdery fine as White Beach's but this place is really, really bautiful and peaceful. Puka Beach is truly a home of pristine white sand and clear waters.

Puka Island looks much better than the beach along Bora. We enjoyed the sand  and the very clear water here.

only the super rich can afford a yacht tripping

I can't describe how beautiful it is to see the sun coming down so fast.

Swim until the sun goes down.

Boracay without nightlife is boring

next stop, Vigan and Pagudpud. So, see you again!
